Construction of the Coos County Fairgrounds Livestock Barn has been well underway since mid-November 2018. In just 7-months, plans have been drawn and approved, site-work, grading and  gravel complete, post holes have been augured, footings poured, poles are up, trusses are placed, the roof is on, electrical and water lines are in progress as is the Donor Board and Branding Party. The new fire suppression sprinkler system which will make the New Livestock Barn a year-round-use building and open to the public, is next and just-in-time for this years 2019 Coos County Fair!

The new Dry-Pipe Sprinkler System, Waterline Connection, Backflow Preventer, Valve House, Fire Sprinkler Monitoring System and Alarm will cost approximately $125,000, and make the Barn a year-round-use structure open to the public.
