CCFA MISSION

Livestock Barn Project

CCFA is collaborating with the Coos County Fair & Rodeo Board to make this project a reality.

CCFA is assisting the Coos County Fair & Rodeo Board in their efforts to improve and maintain the Coos County Fairgrounds. To this end, other planned projects include The Poultry Barn and The Food Pavilion.

Although The Coos County Fair is considered a County entity, it receives no tax monies or public funds but does receive approximately $55,000 in Lottery funds annually. The Fair's primary budget is from annual Fair proceeds and events and activities.

The Coos County Fair Board is entirely volunteer and appointed by the County Commissioners. These Volunteers, with the assistance of one part-time office manager and a full time maintenance person, manage the entire Fairgrounds and all it's activities.
